1. Norwegian Lundehund
These cute little pups are one of the rarest and most unique species of dogs around the world.
The origin of these pets are dated back to the ice age and they have unique characteristics like 6 toes on their paws, along with adjustable ears and a flexible neck that can bend backward to touch the spine.
The color of this dog is double-shaded with black, grey, reddish, golden, white, and more. It has double-coated fur.

He can navigate the high cliffs due to extra toes and flexible limbs. These became near extinct after world war II, but Norwegian breeders protected them and now they are found in small numbers.

2. Lagotto Romagnolo

Azawakh are even called ‘idii n ileli’ by nomads which means ‘sighthound of the free people.
Azawakh was brought to the US in the 1980s and are added to American Kennel Club’s foundation in 1997.
They are extremely shy towards strangers. But when they are with owners they can overcome this reserved feeling and become comfortable companions.
Grayhound also falls under the same species.
4. Otterhound
It is one of the big but lovable canines and is from the UK or Great Britain. During the medieval age, it was used to save the fish industry in the UK from the otters and as fish hunting and marine hunting are banned in the UK, this dog breed is becoming gradually disappearing.
It is recognizable by its beautiful mane of hair and its has webbed feet and waterproof coat and is an ideal swimmer. It has entertaining nature and now only 1000 dogs of this breed are there over the world.

6. Puli
These pups belong of Hungarian origin. They are very attractive with their beautiful and wavy dreadlocks. These are also used as herding dogs.
They are loyal companions and need moderate exercise.

10. Canaan Dog
These dogs are from ancient Israel and are used extensively for rearing livestock.

Canaan dogs are disciplined dogs with sharp eyesight.
They are territorial dogs and are reserved for strangers. But however, they can be trained for socialization.
They have got medium-length double-coated fur with white, black, or brown color with or without patches.
